NEW YORK, NY, July 22, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gary Breslin has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With more than three decades of experience in the field of creative arts and entertainment to his credit, Mr. Breslin has found success as the executive creative director of the Office of Development & Design (ODD), a New York and Los Angeles-based design and animation company. In addition to exploring the possibilities inherent in the creative realm, ODD primarily undertakes animation and visual effects projects for a variety of clients, including advertising agencies and feature filmmakers, among other artistic endeavors. In his capacity as the head of the company, Mr. Breslin maintains oversight of the design and animation teams responsible for each project.
An early pioneer of the motion graphics industry, Mr. Breslin has contributed his talent as a visual effects designer to several movies, short films and documentaries, including "Waste Land," "Countdown to Zero," "Alter Egos" and "Lost Transmissions," to name only a few. Furthermore, he served as a creative director for motion graphics sequences that appeared in "Icarus," a 2017 documentary film that expounds upon the ongoing doping scandal in sports and won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature at the 90th Academy Awards in 2018.
Before embarking upon his professional journey, Mr. Breslin attended Carnegie Mellon University, where he hoped to sharpen his skills as a prospective gallery artist. However, during the course of his studies, his work with computers and video cameras led to the reorientation of his focus toward technology and a longstanding passion for motion graphics. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1995, he has credited much of his subsequent success to his relentless work ethic and a firm conviction that every project he works on will surpass the quality of the last.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Breslin hopes to continue distinguishing himself as a luminary figure in the field of creative design, as well as pursuing his passions in directing feature-length films and writing screenplays.
