Prior to obtaining her current position, she worked as the U.S. Brand and Launch Lead for the TTR Amyloidosis Franchise at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals. Likewise, she expanded upon her expertise in brand management and marketing with Shire, for which she led the launch of NATPARA, a parathyroid hormone for hypoparathyroidism, as well as Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, Inc., and Sanofi Pasteur. During the early stages of her career, she worked in Hospital and Specialty Sales for Merck.
Mrs. Dalal received a five-year scholarship and earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and an MBA in Marketing and Health Care Management from Boston University's Graduate School of Management. Additionally, she completed the General Management Program in strategy, finance and leadership at Harvard Business School. Motivated to remain current with relevant trends, she aligns herself with the Harvard Business School Women's Association, the Healthcare Business Women's Association, and Life Sciences Cares of Boston.
Mrs. Dalal earned a Platinum Outstanding Contributor Award from Vertex Pharmaceuticals and a CEO Award from Alnylam Pharmaceuticals three years in a row. While her career has been filled with highlights, she is most proud of her leadership of the commercial launch of ONPATTRO for hATTR amyloidosis in the US cross team and co-chairing iThrive, a women's leadership and development working group, for Alnylam Pharmaceuticals. In the coming years, Mrs. Dalal aspires to become a Chief Commercial Officer of a biotechnology company.
