Dedicated to commercial properties, Mr. Sadler has earned distinction as a skilled real estate developer for more than 30 years. To prepare for his professional journey, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. Following this accomplishment, he began his career as the president of his company, Sadler Development Corp., in 1983, which he continues to the present. Combining his background in real estate and banking and with his financial acumen, he began his first project developing a nursing home and, after achieving success there, moved into developing convenience stores, shopping centers and two office buildings.
In addition to these endeavors, Mr. Sadler served as a County Judge for Montgomery County from 1991 to his retirement from the position in 2015. With 24 years of commitment, he was the longest serving judge in the county's history, and was honored with numerous state and local awards for his dedicated service. He also received the Texas Road Hand Award from the Texas Highway Department for his work in developing innovations that benefited road infrastructure, expanding the highway system in Montgomery County by about 22% at that time. As further dedication to his community, he served as the vice chairman for the Montgomery County Central Appraisal District and was a Director of the Conroe Chamber of Commerce and the Montgomery County Health District. He also served as a board member for the Lone Star College System, the Boy Scouts of America and presently for the Campus of Hope Homeless Shelter.
Priding himself on his adaptability, Mr. Sadler developed successful properties in all socioeconomic levels of the county. He spent his career communicating effectively with everyone, leading to a great deal of success in politics and business. Looking toward the future, he hopes to conclude development with his current business partner James Barber with B/E Winery and Grand Pines Retreat wedding venue in Conroe, Texas, after which he intends to retire and spend more time with his ten grandchildren.
