As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Having accumulated a decade of experience as an educator, Ms. Gonzalez has distinguished herself as a rising leader in her chosen field. Since 2021, she has operated as the STEM Academic Program Director at Palo Alto College in San Antonio, Texas, where she initially joined as an adjunct faculty member in 2016. In her current roles, Ms. Gonzalez is responsible for running the STEM program and educating the current student population and community. Furthermore, she sources federal, state and local funds to support the expansion of the program.
Prior to her positions at Palo Alto College, Ms. Gonzalez worked as a health program specialist for San Antonio Metro Health – Healthy Start between 2016 and 2017, a health and wellness specialist for Any Baby Can of San Antonio between 2014 and 2016, and a physical therapy tech for The Orthopedic Store in San Antonio, Texas, between 2012 and 2014. Ms. Gonzalez's performance in the field was born of her educational journey, beginning with her time at the University of Northern Colorado, where she received a Bachelor of Science in exercise science in 2009. She subsequently studied at Texas A&M University, where she earned a master's degree in kinesiology in 2013. Committed to her growth as a teacher, Ms. Gonzalez is currently pursuing a PhD in leadership studies at Our Lady of the Lake University.

Attributing much of her success to the fulfillment she finds in seeing her students learning and gaining confidence in their own abilities, she prides herself on being able to change the landscape of the STEM program at Palo Alto College; under her guidance, the program has evolved and is now able to offer internship opportunities, formal facility tours, and robust connections with professionals in various industries.
