Krishna C.V. Kumar, MS, PE Set Himself Apart as a Mechanical Engineer

    LOS ANGELES, August 11, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Krishna C.V. Kumar, MS, PE has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Born in Mysore, India to C.V. Varadarajan and C.V. Janakavalli, Mr. Kumar initially thought he would become an aerospace engineer, but he found that the industry as a whole was on the decline after the Vietnam War era, so he switched to engineering consulting, working mostly in building systems, air conditioning, plumbing and fire protection.

To give him the knowledge needed to pursue his dreams, Mr. Kumar earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mysore in 1970, followed by a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University in 1972. Additionally, he has earned PE licenses in the States of Nevada, California, Oregon and Washington.

Among his many titles, Mr. Kumar has served as an engineering consultant for The University of New Mexico and an engineering consultant for Intel, before founding KK Engg., LLC, where he remains to this day. He has been featured for his achievements in the Wall Street Journal and Forbes Magazine.

One of Mr. Kumar's proudest assignments was completing a geothermal project design for a mansion on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts. The project took about a year to complete, and it opened doors for him in his career.

Mr. Kumar's advice to someone entering the same field is to be well-versed in the fundamentals of science and mathematics, as those are disciplines he utilizes on a daily basis as an engineer. Additionally, he states that it is important to handle things from a parliamentary standpoint and apply the lessons learned to individual practices.

Outside of work, Mr. Kumar enjoys the time he is able to spend with his family, including his wife, Inna, and his brother, Sriehara, who resides in India.
