Mr. Lyons began his career working in accounting and finance for various private and public companies. Since 1995, he has built a prolific career as founder, chief executive officer, and subsequently an executive chairman of Lyons HR, a professional employer organization with 10 operation centers across the United States, providing comprehensive and effective HR management solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. In this capacity, Mr. Lyons and his company are responsible for payroll and tax administration, employee benefits, HR consulting, regulatory compliance, risk management and recruiting.
Throughout the course of his career, Mr. Lyons has authored such works as "We are HR: The Business Owners Definitive Guide to Professional Employer Organizations," an HR handbook committed to helping companies navigate the nuances of employment-related laws and regulations.
