Prior to embarking upon her professional journey, she earned a bachelor's degree from Henderson State University in 1992, and she maintains active memberships in the Home Care Association of America (HCAOA) and in Alzheimer's Arkansas.
Mrs. Watts previously spent 19 years in the telecom business, holding titles such as vice president of retail sales and senior manager of integration operations, before transitioning to senior care through her entrepreneurial venture. Through A Place at Home, she pursues a personal commitment to helping people age in place with dignity and grace. She and her team are dedicated to finding solutions that allow senior citizens to remain in their homes, surrounded by familiar comforts in a context they understand well. Mrs. Watts runs and operates the business, manages the financials and marketing, and actively participates in hiring to confirm the team is a representative balance of the appropriate expertise and abilities.
A proud wife and mother of three, Mrs. Watts has enjoyed watching her children develop into independent adults. She is also proud to have started her own business, and with superior leadership skills and vision, Mrs. Watts plans to advance the company through marketing and brand awareness. She also hopes to take full advantage of being part of an evolving franchise network to perhaps open additional locations. Notably, the firm has already been recognized for superior service to clients and caregivers, including being named among the Best of Home Care, Top 100, and being ranked number four at the national level by Home Care Pulse in 2021.
