NEW SMYRNA, FL, August 15, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Samantha Ann Tribble has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
The co-owner and lead photographer of a six-figure photography studio, Ms. Tribble specializes in boudoir and portraiture photography. Originally intending to pursue law school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, along with political science and business administration minors from Stetson University in 2014. After college she moved to Nebraska, California and then back to Florida where she became a bartender for Caribbean Jacks in 2016. She also served as a producer in training for Brown and Brown Insurance.
During this time, Ms. Tribble received a camera as a present from her mother and took a trip through southern California, photographing landscapes, abandoned buildings and steel wool fire spinning. Discovering an innate passion for the art, she decided to pursue a career as a professional photographer. In so doing, she met her now business partner and partner in life, Steve, alongside whom she established a photography studio.
When starting her photographic pursuits, Ms. Tribble functioned as a contributing writer and photographer for Static Live Magazine from 2016 to 2018. She also became the co-owner and principal photographer for Lunar Studio in 2016, which she continues to the present. She and her colleagues work to create an experience for her clients that makes lasting memories, taking the time to craft heirloom-quality products with her art. As the head of the company, Ms. Tribble handles all client communications and provides quotes for those seeking different styles of photography services. They provide a luxury experience to every client through session preparation, professional hair and makeup services, wardrobe, and high-end albums and products.
In recognition of her excellent work with her photography business, Ms. Tribble was honored as the first featured woman photographer in print and on a podcast by Evolve Business and Entrepreneur Magazine, and was named as the Daytona Beach News-Journal's Women in Business honoree. She was also nominated for the Daytona Beach News-Journal's 2022 Best of the Best Photographer, having won the award in 2021.
Likewise dedicated to civic advocacy, Ms. Tribble serves as the vice president for the Good for Girls Initiative, Inc., a nonprofit that benefits girls in the Volusia County area of Florida. They are currently running the "Volusia County Oopsie Project," a campaign through which they collect small cosmetic bags and fill them with donated feminine hygiene products, which are subsequently contributed to K–12 schools in the area. In addition to the Good for Girls Initiative, Ms. Tribble has also run successful women's clothing swaps benefiting local charities for the past two years. In 2021, she raised $1,000 for Toys for Tots and was able to donate over 150 toys.
Looking to the future, Ms. Tribble is working toward hiring an associate photographer and studio manager to help expand their business. In the next year, they intend to move into a larger studio location, obtaining a bigger space to offer more services. They also plan to create a base school of multiple photographers working for the studio and extend their reach even further to provide more people with the Lunar Studio experience.
Ms. Tribble joins the Who's Who amongst several family members from her great-grandfather Dr. Charles Emerson Tribble, her great, great uncle Dean Lewis H. Tribble, and many other Tribbles.
