A Certified Nursing Assistant with an 18-year background in health care and 3-year background in case management, Mrs. Lewis founded S&S Private Home Care, LLC, in honor of her late father, who was a diabetic. In this role, she manages day-to-day administration, interviews potential clients, screens potential employees, oversees payroll, and ensures that her business complies with local and state regulations. Prior to establishing her own company, Mrs. Lewis served as a Care Manager for Pruitt Health Home First Albany and as a Nurse Assistant for Phoebe Putney Hospital.
Before embarking on her professional journey, Mrs. Lewis earned a diploma from Southwest Georgia Institute of Education in 2000. Presently, she is pursuing a degree in registered nursing from Albany State University and expects to complete the program in 2025.
Mrs. Lewis credits her success to her strong work ethic and persistence, as well as the encouragement and support of her family, which includes GOD, her husband, two sons, her mother, sister and two brothers. She further acknowledges the excellence of her staff, whose hard work has made S&S Private Home Care, LLC, possible. Outside of work, Mrs. Lewis enjoys spending time her two children, Sojour T.
