Ms. Sachs earned a Master's degree from San Diego State University in 1988 and started working in psychotherapy shortly after graduating. Rather that establishing a private practice, she chose to work in therapeutic outreach, going to clients' homes to provide therapy and assist them with much needed resources. In addition, she gained valuable experience while collecting the 3,000 hours as a required by the Behavioral Board of Science to achieve a license as a LMFT. After working in this capacity for eight years, she was promoted to a supervisorial position with the company. She then moved to a director position for Transitional Residential Services (TRS) to help families reunify with their children that were removed from their homes. TRS was a successful program; it was recognized in the state of California. Due to this, Ms. Sachs and the team, were asked to present the TRS program in Monterey, California to establish similar programs in other areas of California.

As part of her dedication to her field, she has been a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. She has been certified in C-DV, C-TFCBT, and is working at finishing a C-DBT. She was honored with an achievement award by the Department of Social Services and received a plaque for services she provided throughout the years.
Ms. Sachs grew up experiencing unfairness in and out of school and wanted to help people in some capacity as a career. Ms. Sachs' interest has shifted throughout the years, at this point in her career, she's identified higher levels of entitlement along with personality disorder traits. That being said, she's working on establishing a platform to assist people encountering such paralysis traits.
Ms. Sachs, contributes her success to her family, upbringing, and friends (particularly her best friend), Her Mom (in her 70's), however, has to be recognized individually. She had the foresight to recognize that being a "girl" can be challenging (growing up with four brothers). Therefore, her mom continuously ingrained in her, "you can do anything boys can do". Ms. Sachs has now edited the most profound sentence heard as a child, to, "you can do anything, with desire."
