LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA, August 17, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jena Minnick-Bull has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Drawing on 30 years in the field of dance, Ms. Minnick-Bull is recognized as a leader for her contributions as president of Dance Unlimited, Inc., CEO and director of South Coast Conservatory, and founder and executive director of Dance Discovery Foundation. In particular, she has served the Orange County community in California via South Coast Conservatory by offering dance instruction to students ages 2 to adult, from the beginner to professional level.
Long dedicated to civic advocacy, Ms. Minnick-Bull offers dance scholarships, education and programs within schools and conservatories through her nonprofit arts organization, Dance Discovery Foundation. She has hosted a class for dancers with special needs, collaborated with the Gang Reduction Intervention Program (GRIP), and organized hip-hop workshops in schools and community centers. Her events and activities have raised sizeable amounts of money for the Children's Hospital of Orange County and Dancers Against Cancer.
Noted for her achievements in the field, Ms. Minnick-Bull has received many awards and recognitions. These include Women in Business, Laguna Niguel Lifestyle Publications in 2021, Best in Finance, Dance Studio Owners Association in 2021, Outstanding Leadership Award, Dance Discovery Foundation in 2018, Female Business Leader nomination, Orange County Business Journal in 2016, Business Leaders Under 40, Woman to Watch, Women of Influence in 2016, and Small Business of the Year, California State Assembly in 2020.
As a commitment to her profession, Ms. Minnick-Bull is active with several industry-related organizations. She is a member and coach for the Dance Studio Owners Association, works with the Better Business Bureau, and serves as a judge for the Distributive Education Clubs of America. Prior to embarking on her professional journey, she earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Johnson & Wales University.
Ms. Minnick-Bull attributes her success to having a supportive group of people in her life, including family, colleagues and friends, to whom she refers as her "accountability team." She considers her most notable achievement to be raising and caring for her four children – all four of whom are involved with the dance studio – while also running a 45-employee business through a recession and, later, a pandemic.
