After serving as an English teacher for second through 10th grade students for many years, Mrs. Braungart decided to pursue higher education. Due to her natural inclination toward technology, she earned a Master of Science in educational technology and digital media from Canisius College in 2018. Supported by her education, which opened new opportunities within the field, she joined Nardin Academy, where she excels today, in dual directorial and teaching positions.
In her work as director of innovation and educational technology and as a high school computer science teacher with Nardin Academy, Mrs. Braungart helps kindergarten through 12th grade teachers create interesting active learning models for their classes. A certified teacher through the International Society of Technology Educators, she is also affiliated with the Western New York chapter of the Computer Science Teachers Association, where she serves as a K-16 liaison.
