ROSEBURG, OR, August 19, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Elias Badoui Minaise has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Having led a long and multifaceted career in business, Mr. Minaise presently serves as the President and Director of Operations of SignCraft Premier Identity Solutions, Inc. Initially established in 2004 as SignCraft of Roseburg, the company originally specialized in real estate signage and post installation, with Mr. Minaise as the sole proprietor.
Leveraging the infinite creative horizons in signage, and the advertising industry, as well as making use of the ever-expanding frontiers in technology, the business has since developed, acquiring construction and electrical licensure with the ability to design, manufacture, fabricate and install a range of signage applications, lighting, awnings, and indoor and outdoor advertising. Mr. Minaise has been able to establish his company as a Pacific Northwest preferred vender ranging across a full spectrum of business fields: fast food, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, schools, sports stadiums, banks, professional branding, shopping centers, real estate, military, even the railroad.
Prior to working in his current capacity, Mr. Minaise came of age in Nigeria, to which his father, Badoui Salim Minaise, had moved when leaving Lebanon in the search for work and the means to support his family. Eventually Mr. Minaise opened a business with his brother in Niamey, Niger where he also served as an international procurement officer and contractor for various diplomatic initiatives in West Africa, including on behalf of the American, German and Belgian Embassies, the Peace Corps, the United Nations, the United States Agency for International Development, the United Nations Children's Fund, the Sudan Interior Mission, and various Christian missionary efforts. During this time, he took the opportunity to work as a restaurateur at The Dempsi and The Lotus Bleu, and enjoyed a variety of other business ventures, including organizing (and joining) harvesting expeditions via camel caravan for pharmaceuticals, serving as a Cessna pilot for missions, a relay driver for the Paris-Dakar Rally, rescue missions into the Sahel interior, even a training stint with the French Foreign Legion. Following this period, Mr. Minaise immigrated to the United States in 1991, becoming a naturalized citizen in 2002.
Utilizing his skills gained in the adventures of life, ranging from automotive and fleet maintenance to restaurant management, to international government and diplomatic contracting, to private entrepreneurial ventures, Mr. Minaise has been able to harness life experiences to foster a business acumen and reputation for success-whatever the endeavor. Among his many career accomplishments, Mr. Minaise is most proud to have sustained the long thread of family business and industry that has extended from the days he worked alongside his father and brother into the present, which has seen him at work, side by side with his wife and 12 children, at SignCraft. By weathering numerous obstacles and celebrating a variety of accomplishments together, he is grateful that his family has learned well the values of resiliency, collaboration, perseverance, and unity. Mr. Minaise has been especially inspired, personally, by his sons and daughters, their unstinting devotion, unrestrained dedication, and unswerving determination.
In accounting for his success, Mr. Minaise credits the influence of his father, who taught him that in every effort is a success; any failure is merely the forge that founds it. Thus, undaunted, his far-reaching successes in a variety of fields have taught him how vital it is to cultivate an ever-growing sense of gratitude and humility: the hallmarks of professionalism. Looking toward the future, Mr. Minaise intends to establish a family of companies, alongside which SignCraft will continue to operate, that will equip his family to extend their commitment to design, beauty and service.
Beyond business, Mr. Minaise is known for his civic advocacy. Mr. Minaise has offered his services as a financial tutor in pro bono capacities, a small business advisor and investor, and has contributed much to civic and social organizations in his community. Participating in such organizations as the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, the Umpqua Symphony Association, Roseburg Concert Chorale, Douglas County Museum; hosting events on behalf of the Rod and Gun Club, Roseburg Rotary Club, Wildlife Safari; even serving in benefits for the U. S. Marine Corps - for which he was recognized as a Major General Marion E. Carl Memorial Honoree, among other awards; and acknowledged by the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion, Mr. Minaise observes that it is the activity of business that forms the opportunity for relationship, and that it is service that allows for meaningful contributions. He looks forward to more, much more!
