Drawing on over two decades of diverse expertise, Ms. Gough specializes in interior design. Prior to embarking on her professional journey, she completed her coursework in interior design at The Art Institutes in 2010. Following this accomplishment, she continued her academic efforts at the Design Institute of San Diego, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior design in 2015. As a commitment to her field, Ms. Gough has been active with several industry-related organizations, including the American Society of Interior Designers and the National Association of Professional Women.
Ms. Gough began her career in interior design as an options assistant at Pardee Homes in Las Vegas, Nevada, from 2002 to 2005. Between 2005 and 2006, she was subsequently active as a customer service representative at ISI Bairs and, from 2016 until 2017, she garnered expertise as an interior design assistant at La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries. Since 2017, she has found much success as chief executive officer of VG Designs LLC. In this capacity, Ms. Gough is responsible for interviews with perspective clients, space walk-throughs, consulting with clients and contractors, measurements and final additions, such as lighting and paints for basement designs.
Long dedicated to civic advocacy, Ms. Gough volunteers as a resident designer at her local church, and contributes to various charitable organizations, including A Bridge for Kids, the American Cancer Society and the Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital. Well regarded for her performance in the field, she has received the VIP Woman of the Year Circle award from the National Association of Professional Women in 2017.
Among her professional accomplishments, she is most proud of the kitchens that she remodeled in her capacity as an interior designer. She attributes much of her success to her husband, who motivated her to go back to school to achieve her degree in interior design. Looking toward the future, Ms. Gough aspires to have one of her designs featured in the Architectural Digest.
