MONTREAL, QC, August 19, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Serge K. Deuvletian, DVM, IPSAV, with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Dr. Deuvletian celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Accumulating more than 25 years of experience in his profession, Dr. Deuvletian is a skilled veterinarian who has owned his own practice, Clinique Veterinaire de Montreal, since 2001. Initially established with the assistance of his father, a retired pharmacist, who continues to help run the practice, Dr. Deuvletian is responsible for providing consultations and preventative care for animals, treating sick and injured animals, and performing surgeries on those that need additional medical care.
Aspiring to become a veterinarian since he was a young child, Dr. Deuvletian is grateful for the many years that he has been able to devote to doing what he loves. A very rewarding and fulfilling career, Dr. Deuvletian now looks forward to retiring from his practice in the near future, knowing that his tenure in the industry has made a huge impact on the community and their beloved pets.
Notably, Dr. Deuvletian was diagnosed in 2008 at McGill University with Asperger's syndrome, a high-functioning form of autism. Featured in an article by CBC News in 2010, titled 'Autism in Adults Detected by Brain Scans,' he divulged what was, at that time, a very new diagnosis. Finding clarity in his diagnosis, Dr. Deuvletian also spoke about his ability to juggle a very successful career as a doctor and how it was possible to function in society with his disability. Additionally, Dr. Deuvletian authored an autobiography titled "Clinic Born Out of Autism," to better explain his life's work as a veterinarian living with Asperger's.
Dr. Deuvletian received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Montreal and obtained a veterinary license in Ontario and Quebec, Canada, as well as in the state of New York. Dr. Deuvletian also recently participated in a creative nonfiction class as a newly respected author and received both a certificate and a diploma in creative writing from Concordia University in 2021.
To remain aware of developments affecting his field, Dr. Deuvletian is a member of the Veterinary Association in Quebec. An avid sports fan, Dr. Deuvletian was notably recognized by the Montreal Gazette in 2015 as Montreal's number one sports fan.
