In fact, Ms. Kelly served as a senior special agent for the United States Department of Homeland Security and a command chief master sergeant with the United States Air Force Reserve from 1987 to 2019. Additionally, from 1990 to 2010, Ms. Kelly was the chief evaluator for aeromedical evacuation with the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
Ms. Kelly holds a Master of Business Administration in military and strategic leadership from Trident University International. She earned an Associate of Science in health services from the Community College of the Air Force and a bachelor's in criminal justice from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, where she also focused on pre-law and foreign languages. Ms. Kelly also achieved several industry certifications, including Professional Manager Certification (PMC) and the International John Maxwell Certification for Speaking, Coaching and Training. Moreover, she is a licensed diversity and inclusion instructor and a SHRM Recertification Provider.
Ms. Kelly has proudly accepted various awards for her accomplishments in military service. In fact, before retiring from the U.S. Air Force, Congress recognized her for lifetime achievements as an immigrant, and success in law enforcement and military service. A native of Guatemala, she has lived an extraordinary life, surviving poverty and hardship to build a productive life in the United States. Ms. Kelly is especially proud of overcoming the language barrier and excelling in the male-dominated military environment to reach the pinnacle of success in service to the country.
As a prolific author, Ms. Kelly aims to motivate her readers toward persistence and productive risk-taking.
