Prior to embarking upon his professional journey, he earned an Associate of Arts from the College of Southern Idaho in 1992 and a Bachelor of Science in exercise science and health promotion from Boise State University in 1996. Well qualified in his field, he holds 20 professional certifications. Following his educational accomplishments, he began his career as a community educator and a high school track coach.
Mr. Duke was simultaneously a semi-professional football player and downhill mountain biker, transitioning to life coaching and founder of Pinnacle Fitness in 2002. During his tenure, he was able to meet President George W. Bush through the First Tee Golf Association, in addition to creating his own curriculum for Pinnacle Fitness. After this role, he became the owner of Synergy Fitness from 2002 until 2017.
Since 2006, Mr. Duke has been the founder and president of the Duke Family Foundation, which supports nonprofit organizations that benefit communities in Idaho. Their mission is to support those who share the principle that strong minds combined with integrity and determination can create a positive impact on a diverse society. Mr. Duke started his foundation after a financial windfall as a result of winning the Powerball lottery in 2005, choosing to spread his wealth and good fortune to benefit his community and his state.
Additionally, Mr. Duke has served as a board member for the Children's Home Society of Idaho and the YMCA Horsethief Commission. He is also a member of the President's Club at Boise State University and a newsletter article writer for the American Heart Association. In recognition of his commitment to working for his community's benefit, he was honored with a Koolmer Award from Big Brothers Big Sisters in 2021.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Duke's goal is to become a billionaire. He was mentored by the late Mr. Steve Appleton, the chief executive officer of Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho, who encouraged Mr. Duke to pursue his financial goals as well as his personal ones.
