An expert in his field, he holds an MD from the College of Medicine at the University of Lagos. Subsequently, he completed a residency in psychiatry and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry through the Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Upon graduating, he received medical licenses in Pennsylvania and New York, and became a board-certified pediatric and adolescent psychiatrist. He is also a board certified adult and General Psychiatrist.
In order to remain abreast of changes in the field, Dr. Osuntokun aligns himself with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Due to his vast breadth of knowledge, he authored "The Ordained Demon: The Story of a Young Priest," which was published in 2022. For his outstanding body of work, he was named as a Top Doctor from 2020 until 2022.
Though his career has been filled with highlights, Dr. Osuntokun is most proud to have established MedPsych Consultants PC shortly after leaving a hospital position. He attributes his success to his faith, discipline, and propensity for hard work. Looking toward the future, Dr. Osuntokun intends to bring spirituality into psychiatry, as well as publish more books.
