As of 2021, she has also found much success as the founder and chief executive officer of Salvage Care now Salvage Nursing Care, an organization serving the underprivileged individuals in the community and enlightening the public and health care providers on various mental health illnesses.
In this capacity, Dr. Osawe functions as a street psychiatric provider, and is responsible for providing mental health services to homeless individuals who live on the streets, shelters, and bridge housing. To wit, she evaluates and prescribes medications, and link patients to primary care providers for physical illnesses or to the psychiatric emergency room for acute mental health crises.
