She served as the Delta Omicron secretary and treasurer throughout her studies and remains a lifetime member. She graduated Cum Laude and was named a Redbird Scholar in 2017. She has continued her education through studying music, music education, and music education research in Jamaica and Finland. Ms. Ziegler also aligns with professional organizations such as National Association for Music Educators and American Orff-Schulwerk Association.
Though Ms. Ziegler's dedication has brought her far, she attributes her success to her mentor, Dr. Kimberly McCord, who trusted her to follow Dr. McCord's model in Connecticut and establish a branch of Just Accessible Music in NYC. While her career has been filled with highlights, she takes the most pride in the work she is performing with JAM. Within the next five years, Ms. Ziegler intends to foster the growth of JAM in NYC by establishing a permanent location and continuing to work with charities and school fundraisers in the community.
