Mrs. Killoren has earned distinction as the owner and proprietor of Scarlet Macaw Resort Wear, a women's boutique offering comfortable beach and resort-friendly apparel. In this capacity, she manages her family-owned store, and is responsible for all aspects of its operations, including selecting and organizing merchandise, overseeing staff, handling inventory, and taking on creative ventures such as painting sweaters and shirts. She has been an employee of Scarlet Macaw since June of 2015.
Purchasing a family business has allowed Mrs. Killoren to pay tribute to her aunt's legacy while also developing her own brand, such as introducing more versatile and youthful lines of clothing. Her talented staff and strong leadership was recognized by Scarlet Macaw Resort Wear being named as a finalist for the best clothing store in Venice in 2021. Looking toward the future, Mrs. Killoren is excited to focus more on painting apparel, as well as collaborating with her sister-in-law to develop the store's online presence.

Previously, she was the artist and owner of Giant Baby's Adirondack Chairs. In addition, she served as a board member and the president of the Frances R. Willis Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Summerville, South Carolina, and held various positions, including student teacher, import specialist, leasing specialist and secretary for a law office.
Before venturing onto her vocational path, Mrs. Killoren earned a Bachelor of Science in communications from the College of Charleston and a master's degree in elementary education and teaching from the University of Phoenix. Her undergraduate studies included a spring Semester at Sea trip around the world studying marine biology and biological oceanography with the University of Virginia. Outside of work, she is the dedicated mother of a 3-year-old son and two large rescue dogs. Mrs. Killoren and her husband, Damien, recently celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary.
