With more than 20 years of experience to her credit in accounting, Ms. Jordan has found success as a financial controller for Stewart Mohr Designs, Inc. Since 2010, she has focused her efforts on product ordering, payment and invoicing while proving end-of-the-month and end-of-the-year financial reports. She also handles the company registration and licensing, payroll and health insurance benefits.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Jordan began her career working with the Eastman Kodak Company until joining the accounting department of Park 'N Fly in 1997. She served as a consultant for the Morehouse School of Medicine from 1998 to 2000, simultaneously working as an accountant for the Philly Franchising Company between 1999 and 2001. Ms. Jordan acquired a role as an accountant for the Recovery Consultants of Atlanta in 2000, where she remained until 2003. She subsequently worked in the same capacity for the American Housing Preservation Corporation between 2002 and 2004.
During this period, Ms. Jordan served as a treasurer for her local Boy Scouts of America, Cub Scout Pack 741, and was a senior staff accountant for the Professional Design Group from 2001 to 2005. She then worked in the same role for Long Engineering from 2005 to 2008 and for Jova, Daniels and Busby between 2008 and 2009. She served as a controller for Blair-Jordan Associates from 2009 until 2011 and subsequently for R.A. Smith Asphalt Paving Contractors, Inc. between 2011 and 2012. She has been a notary for Cobb County since 2000.
Prior to embarking upon her professional journey, Ms. Jordan earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Georgia State University in 2000. To gain further expertise in her field, she attained a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2014.
To commemorate her accomplishments, Ms. Jordan was honored with an award for her community service with the Kiwanis Club and from Making A Way Housing, Inc. in 2019. The same year, she also received a community service award from the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center.
Having experienced numerous challenges in her life, including the passing of her mother, sister, grandmother and husband, Ms. Jordan is uniquely compassionate and dedicated to her colleagues.
