Dr. Cisse initially entered his vocation as the senior director of operations at Grand Central Partnerships in New York from 1994 to 2004, while concurrently serving as a director of programs for the Salvation Army of Greater New York from 2000 until 2003. Between 2003 and 2006, he contributed to the Volunteers of America of Greater New York as a senior director of operations. Subsequently, Dr. Cisse was active as an executive director of operations at Broadway Housing Communities Inc. in New York City from 2006 to 2007.
Dr. Cisse continued his career as a senior project manager of hospital support services at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey between 2007 and 2012. From 2012 to 2013, he was involved with the Newark Community Health Centers Inc. as an executive director of facilities operations. Following the completion of this role, Dr. Cisse garnered expertise as an assistant vice president of operations at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park Conservancy from 2013 until 2018.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Cisse pursued an education at the Stevens Institute of Technology, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in engineering-facilities and plant management in 1999. He continued his academic efforts at Wagner College, earning a Master of Public Administration in public and nonprofit management and policies, with a minor in psychology in 2000. Subsequently, he attained a Master of Science in forensic psychology from the University of Scranton in 2002. Dr. Cisse concluded his scholarly endeavors at the City University of New York John Jay College of Criminal Justice, achieving a Doctor of Philosophy in criminal psychology in 2006.
Dr. Cisse attributes much of his success to his honesty and dedicated work ethic. Looking toward the future, he aspires to successfully retire and contribute more to his community. Additionally, Dr. Cisse hopes to serve as an adjunct professor at different universities in Africa to share with them everything that he has learned in the United States.
