TUCSON, AZ, September 27, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cristine I. Legaspi has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Legaspi worked as an inclusionist for 8 years and 3 years as a resource teacher for students with special needs. Presently, she teaches English language arts at Santa Rita High School in the Tucson Unified School District. In this position, her primary responsibility is providing students with tailored instruction in the subjects of reading, writing and comprehension. Her duties include designing individualized education plans for her students, meeting regularly with her students' parents and providing students additional instruction time during after-school hours to ensure they fulfill graduation requirements.
Ms. Legaspi began her teaching career in the Philippines. From 2012 until 2019, she served as an inclusion teacher for fourth grade students at Bonbon Elementary School. Prior to this role, she worked as an inclusion teacher for second and third grade students at the Academia de Santa Monica between 2011 and 2012.
Ms. Legaspi's performance in the field of education was born of her academic journey. She initially pursued an education at Philippine Normal University, earning a bachelor's degree in special education in 2011. Ms. Legaspi obtained a master's degree in special education from Southwestern University PHINMA in 2013. She earned her doctorate degree in special education from Cebu Technological University.
