Subsequently, Mr. Nogueira immigrated to the United States in 1977, where he has found much success as the owner of several Italian restaurants.
Mr. Nogueira began his vocation in the restaurant industry working at Pancho's Mexican Buffet in Houston, Texas, in a variety of roles, including as a general manager, a district supervisor, a vice president of operations and, finally, an owner. Pancho's Buffet serves as a buffet restaurant that has expanded to a second location and features 35 items on the menu of all Mexican food for family dining. During this time, he has also built a prolific career as the co-owner of Café Sicilia, an Italian restaurant servicing three locations in Texas. In this capacity, Mr. Nogueira is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the businesses with the help of his managers, assistant managers and a staff of 150 employees.
Well regarded for his contributions to the field, Mr. Nogueira has been featured in several local magazines, including the Mansfield Magazine in 2014. Among his professional accomplishments, he is most proud of working alongside exceptional people who have helped facilitate the growth of his company with each of his restaurants throughout the last four decades. He attributes much of his success to his business partner Joseph and employees, whose average tenure at his company is in excess of 20 years, for their hard work, support and dedication to the business.
