In 2006, Elizabeth and her father purchased their first real estate, a 42-unit apartment complex in northwest Georgia. This was Ms. Martin's first exposure to property management, and it was a true test of her talents. The property survived two tornadoes and a massive fire, and a whole building in the complex was lost as a result. Needless to say, she learned a great deal through the experience, and carried it forward to her own real estate efforts. When the country underwent a recession, Elizabeth and her husband Scott purchased a foreclosed beach property in the Florida panhandle to be used as a vacation rental in 2010. It was profitable from day one and that catapulted their investment/flipping business. She hired her brother, owner of Modica & Son Handymen, as her general contractor, and they ended up flipping over a dozen homes in Cherokee County, Georgia as well as purchase single family rentals which they still own today. As the economy improved, Elizabeth decided to shift her focus to helping others obtain their dreams and goals in purchasing real estate and in September of 2018 got her real estate license. In her first full year of being licensed, Elizabeth sold 24 properties totaling almost $6 million in revenue and was selected as the 2019 Realtor "Rookie of the Year" by the Cherokee Association of Realtors.

What makes Ms. Martin an effective realtor is that she is razor-focused on her clients' needs, and is committed to helping them achieve their goals. Because she is service oriented, she prides in providing the best customer service whether they are a first-time home buyer or a seasoned investor.
