A seasoned educator and business owner with a proven record of success lasting 29 years, Dr. Foster presently excels as chief executive officer of His Glory Child Development Center, Inc., through which she provides childcare and afterschool care, as well as a summer enrichment. The facility accommodates and is licensed by the State of North Carolina to serve 240 students. In conjunction with her work at His Glory Child Development Center, she serves as the founder of Child Connect Inc., a nonprofit that helps infants and toddlers obtain circumcisions, in addition to combating early childhood obesity. They recently launched the Frankie M. Ash Scholarship honoring an early childhood educator serving children for over 60 years, and still going.
During the early stages of her career, Dr. Foster worked in public education as an administrator in payroll, human relations, and staff development. An expert in her field, she holds an Associate Degree in Early Education from Guilford Technical Community College, a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Divinity, which she recently received, walking in the Prophetic office in the Church of Christianity.
To remain aware of developments affecting her field, Dr. Foster aligns herself with the North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE), the Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE), the Guilford County Partnership for Children (GCPC), and the Minority Business Women Association (MBWA). She is the Founder of God's Woman Seminars where she is dedicated to building success of families. To commemorate her accomplishments, she has been honored consistently for maintaining a Five-Star Rating for Child Care and inclusion into the Top 10 Child Care Facilities in North Carolina for His Glory Child Development Center. In a career filled with highlights, she is most proud of overcoming a low-income poverty lifestyle and becoming a self-made millionaire.
