Due to being considered as injury-prone as a child, Ms. Roden frequently had to have prescriptions filled out for medication, which inspired her to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical industry. After earning a bachelor's degree in the field from Southern Arkansas University, she began her career in the field as a student pharmacist at Harding University's College of Pharmacy. Since joining the aforementioned university in 2021, Ms. Roden has counseled patients, shadowed the pharmacy manager, and ensured their inventory records and paperwork.
Driven to remain aware of changes in the field, Ms. Roden aligns herself with the Arkansas Pharmacists Association and the American Pharmacists Association. Outside of her work, she dedicates herself to those less fortunate through Upward Bound. Though her career has been filled with standout moments, she takes the most pride in maintaining numerous positions while in school. In addition to working as an officer for the Arkansas and American Pharmacists Associations, she has worked as an advocacy officer for Walmart Pharmacy through which she helps plan drug takeback events with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.

She witnessed her mother's financial struggles, which encouraged her to never let anything limit her. Within the next five to ten years, Ms. Roden aims to obtain a residency, expand her horizons, and take the national pharmaceutical exam.
