ST. PETERSBURG, FL, October 18, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jacqueline N. Cotman has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Drawing on years of practiced expertise, Ms. Cotman presently excels as a partner and co-owner of Cotman Properties LLC, through which she manages medical property lease agreements, oversees daily business operations and conducts viewings for properties. During the early stages of her career, Ms. Cotman also worked as a teacher, a distributor with the Amway Corporation, a member of the board of directors at Florida A&M University and an appointee with the White House Office of Public Engagement and the White House Committee on Agricultural Lands.
Outside of her work, Ms. Cotman is the author of "Sea Grapes and Turtle Eggs" and "An Hour of Eternity," which she wrote about her mother, and several poems in national and international anthologies. To remain aware of developments affecting her field, she aligns herself with several organizations, including Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Throughout her career, Ms. Cotman has also dedicated herself to the White House Historical Association, the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society, and the University of Florida National Alumni Association. Likewise, she has lent her expertise to the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society as a speaker.
Prior to embarking upon her professional journey, Ms. Cotman earned a Bachelor of Arts in speech and drama from Florida A&M University in 1967. To commemorate her accomplishments, she was honored with a Soror in the Spotlight award from Alpha Kappa Alpha and as a Most Distinguished Graduate via Florida A&M University. In a career filled with highlights, she is most proud of completing her education and being an active member of her community. Though hard work and dedication have brought her far, she attributes her success to the love and support of her husband. Looking toward the future, Ms. Cotman intends on staying healthy and inspiring others.
