Looking toward the future, she intends to remain active in her current role and expand upon her expertise in blood banking and microbiology.
SMITHTOWN, NY, October 25, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Hilal D. Dietrich has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Supported by years of professional experience, Ms. Dietrich presently excels as a medical laboratory technologist with St. Catherine of Siena, a facility managed by the Catholic Health Services of Long Island. She worked at Good Samaritan in 2020 and during the early stages of her career, she gained valuable expertise in the field as an extraction technician with Cordant Health Solutions, as a veterinary assistant with Banfield Pet Hospital and Family Pet Clinic of Bayport, and as a research assistant with Stony Brook University.
An expert in her field, Ms. Dietrich earned a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in clinical laboratory science from Stony Brook University in 2011 and 2019, respectively. She subsequently became a medical laboratory scientist in New York State and a certified clinical laboratory scientist through the American Society for Clinical Pathology. In recognition of her accomplishments, she was inducted as a member of Sigma Alpha Pi at Stony Brook University and was included on the dean's list at Suffolk County Community College.
Outside of her primary endeavors, Ms. Dietrich volunteers as a foster parent through the Northport Cat Rescue Association.
Though her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Dietrich is most proud to have consistently worked the night shift at Good Samaritan Hospital and in having been the first person in her family to finish college and obtain two degrees. She came to the United States with her father in fourth grade, and didn't know the language at that time. In accounting for her success, she credits the influence of her father, who has long stood as an inspiration. Looking toward the future, she intends to remain active in her current role and expand upon her expertise in blood banking and microbiology.
