With more than three decades of excellence to her credit in the mortgage industry, Ms. Bennett has found success as a loan manager with Sandstone Financial. Since 2005, she has focused her efforts on conventional and governmental lending, prioritizing transactions that have contingency removals, observing the bond market and monitoring rates to determine if they should be closing immediately on certain cases. She collaborates with real estate agents and potential borrowers to help them determine what they qualify for in their mortgage, incorporating those rates and research to inform their decisions.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Bennett began her career working with three of the Southland's major mortgage lending firms. She served as part of the mortgage division for Grubb and Ellis, after which she undertook an internship for the federal home loan bank board in Washington, D.C.
Prior to embarking on her professional journey, she earned a Bachelor of Science in political science and history from the University of California Los Angeles in 1986. She went on to attain a Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System license and a real estate sales license. Additionally, she is a member of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers.
To commemorate her excellent work, Ms. Bennett was named as one of the Top 200 Loan Officers Nationwide in the United States and has received the Five Star Mortgage Professionals Award each year since 2013.
