Prior to this role, she served as office manager and a dental assistant for 13 years. Mrs. Martin initially began her career as a manager to her parent's gas station, convenience store, washateria and commercial property business center.
Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Mrs. Martin pursued an education at Houston Community College, where she obtained a Certificate of Completion in Dental Assisting with all rights, privileges pertaining thereto, given at Houston, Texas, on the 13th of August 1995. As a commitment to her field, she has been active with several industry related organizations, including the National Women's Business Council. Likewise dedicated to civil advocacy, Mrs. Martin contributes to various local establishments in the community, including the Colleyville Lions Club, receiving the "Melvin Jones Award", the highest award presented by the International Lions Club, the Save Eagle Mountain Lake, the Red Ribbon Drug Free Elementary school campaign, the Colleyville Heritage High School and Grapevine High School.
Well regarded for her contributions to the field, Mrs. Martin has received multiple awards, including Tops in Tarrant County from Society Life Magazine in 2021 and 2022, and the Best Roofing Company in Colleyville, Texas Award and the Best Roofing Company in Fort Worth, Texas Award, to only name a few. Reflecting on a diverse career, she attributes much of her success to her parents teaching, especially her father.
