Golden GiGi Ceramics offers customers a large number of molds, more than 15,000 in all, which can be hand-painted and glazed after being fired.
AKRON, OH, November 15, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Malinda J. Largent has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mrs. Largent has found tremendous success as a local business owner. After establishing Golden GiGi Ceramics in Pearisburg, Virginia, she opened a second storefront in North Canton, Ohio, with the expectations of inaugurating a third location soon. Notably, Golden GiGi Ceramics is family-owned and operated – Malinda along with granddaughter Audrey, son Blair, son's fiancé Rebecca, grandson Landon, granddaughter Baeley, and close family and friends, spending countless hours working to produce high quality handmade ceramic pieces. Mrs. Largent's sister Cindy and Ed Groves manage the Virginia shop.
Open six days a week and closed on Sundays, Golden GiGi Ceramics offers customers a large number of molds, more than 15,000 in all, which can be hand-painted and glazed after being fired. Customers can also participate in various ceramics classes, wine glass painting and other crafting events, and date night events for adults after hours. Additionally, Mrs. Largent offers birthday party and other party packages for those interested in hosting a private event.
Outside of owning her ceramics business, Mrs. Largent has been employed as a verification fraud specialist for Summit Racing Equipment for more than three decades. Civically, she supports Heaven's Helping Hands, a charitable organization that caters to families that are experiencing financial insecurity, as well as foster children. As a part of her commitment, she donates some of her ceramics to be auctioned off to raise money. Furthermore, Mrs. Largent is on the board of trustees and volunteers her time with the East Akron Cemetery.
Mrs. Largent studied elementary education in college for two years before resolving to pursue a different career path. Since establishing Golden GiGi Ceramics, she has been featured in an article in a local Virginia newspaper, which highlighted the success of her business. Grateful for her continued growth, Mrs. Largent is especially appreciative of her mother and sister for sharing in what has become a prosperous professional journey. She is also very thankful and grateful for the never ending support from her husband Timothy for allowing her to follow and fulfill her dreams and goals of having a ceramic business.
