Throughout her professional journey she has been active with several insurance related organizations including the Association of Professional Insurance Women (APIW).
She was inspired by her mother's perseverance and dedication to her five children, attributes that have contributed to her success. Her husband's support of her passion for educational opportunities also has motivated her to succeed. The events of 9/11 and the emotions it evoked when the subsequent claims were being handled deepened Ms. Salas' commitment to her work. What she does is important to helping people recover from tragedies and other misfortunes.
