2023 marks 25 years in the business for Andrea Gordon. Ms. Gordon has excelled as a realtor with Compass since 2019. Prior to this appointment, she worked with Red Oak Realty (2007, 2015-2018), Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage (2008-2015), and Century 21 (1998-2007- later purchased by Alain Pinel in 2007) and Alain Pinel.
She previously served as a theater director, teacher, producer, writer and lecturer at U.C.S.B. College of Creative Studies, the London Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berkeley, Suisun Valley College and St. Mary's College.
Ms. Gordon has been active in theater since the 1980s as Artistic Director of Tour De Force (1989-1996), Resident Director at the One Act Theatre Company, Resident Director at Theatre Artists of Marin, guest director at regional theaters all over the country, and as the Co-Artistic Director of the Eureka Theatre Company in San Francisco (with Benny Sato Ambush and Lane Nishikawa). She is currently one of the executive producers for the independent feature "You'll Lose a Good Thing." She previously was the Executive Producer of the film "Saltwater." Her production company Rainbow Zebra currently has several projects in development, including a series on real estate.
Believing strongly in volunteer work, Ms. Gordon has served on the Board of Directors for the Bridge Association of Realtors and the Multiple Listing Service in her area for the past 15 years. As a strong advocate for animals, she a member of the capital campaign funds committee for the Berkeley County Humane Society.
Ms. Gordon has her B.A. from the University of California at Santa Barbara, College of Creative Studies in literature in 1976. She subsequently graduated from San Francisco State University with a Master of Arts in theater in 1984.
As a testament to her exceptional undertakings, she was recognized as #145 in the Country by Real Trends America's Best Real Estate Professional in 2022, the Realtor of the Year in 2015 and among the Top Five Realtors in Oakland in 2022 by Oakland Magazine. She has been the top producing realtor in Berkeley and Oakland for COMPASS since 2019.
