Drawing on years of expertise in forensic science and education, Mr. St. Gerard presently serves as an adjunct criminal justice professor at Miami Dade College and as a forensic evidence recovery supervisor for the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner's Department. As a recovery supervisor, he maintains responsibility for transporting human remains and evidence from the sites of accidents, natural deaths, suicides and homicides. Additionally, Mr. St. Gerard assists in homicide cases, generates reports for the police and works with local law enforcement agencies in the county, as well as in the United States.
In conjunction with his work, Mr. St. Gerard dedicates himself to the community as a pastor with the Apostolic Worship Center. Additionally, he provides school supplies to those in need in the area and feeds the homeless. While embarking on his professional journey, Mr. St. Gerard expanded upon his expertise, earning a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice and police science in 2012, as well as a Master of Science in criminal justice and management administration in 2015, both from St. Thomas University.
