With more than two decades of design experience, Ms. Lebrón is recognized for excellence as an interior designer and owner of her own Florida-based company, G. Lebrón Interiors. An expert in residential design, Ms. Lebrón brings a simple, organic and curated style to her work, drawing on rich textures from her Latin American culture to make homes feel warm and inviting. In her role, Ms. Lebrón utilizes virtual systems, such as rendering, to design kitchens, bathrooms and other spaces for clients, especially young and starting families; through that process, she gets to know her client's tastes and wishes, offers décor advice, places orders and provides installation services. She also handles all the business elements of running her own company, including managing her social media presence.
Ms. Lebrón started her career in graphic design, working for 12 years for the Puerto Rican daily newspaper Primera Hora. Eager to express her artistry in other ways, she ventured into interior design, taking a two-year introductory design course in Puerto Rico to explore her new direction. When her husband's career brought the family to Miami in 2011, she began building her new profession by blogging about interior design. Ms. Lebrón's career quickly took off; she intuitively understands clients' needs and fully expresses her creativity around their visions, making her highly sought by discerning customers.
Well regarded for her contributions to the field, Ms. Lebrón was one of the 11 designers who created a room for the pioneering project by Seasonal Living, "Luxury Virtual Showhouse". She also was a blogger for HomeGoods and Better Homes & Gardens products and has authored articles including "The Home Depot Patio Style Challenge" for Home Depot and "Viñetas que narran una historia" for Singulares magazine. She holds an associate degree in interior design from EDP College of Puerto Rico Inc. (formerly San Juan School of Interior Design) and a Bachelor of Arts in graphic design, cum laude, from Universidad de Puerto Rico. As a commitment to her profession, Ms. Lebrón is active with the Colegio Diseñadores-Decoradores de Interiores de Puerto Rico (CODDI) and the American Society of Interior Designers.
Outside of work, Ms. Lebrón enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters; her oldest daughter, who is currently attending college, plans to pursue a law enforcement career that involves working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Looking toward the future, Ms. Lebrón is excited to build a brand highlighting her Latin American roots.
