Leveraging more than 20 years of excellence in security and facilities management, Mr. Domansky has earned distinction as the Manager of Facility Engineering and Construction for NJ Transit. Having joined NJ Transit's Organizational Services as a supervisor in 2020, he also took a role as the Acting Facility Manager the same year. Since 2021, he has focused his efforts on caring for the NJ TRANSIT Headquarters and the NJ TRANSIT general office building, and two warehouses.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Domansky began his career as a Security Officer and quickly thereafter became an armed Security Officer and a Supervisor for Command Security Corporation in 2001 until 2006 and at the same time worked with JMS Investigations Inc. for a year in 2002. Overlapping these roles, he served as the Senior Deputy Sheriff for the Essex County Sheriff's Office from 2003 to 2014. He was a Manager for Abbry Security LLC from 2006 until 2010 and subsequently became a Facility Manager and Security Manager for Hudson Community Enterprises in 2010. He was promoted to Director of Building Service in 2018 and served in this role until 2020.
While developing his professional journey, Mr. Domansky earned an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice from Passaic County College in 2021. Well-qualified in his field, he attained numerous certificates in emergency preparedness and management, and facility management. He is a Certified Security Specialist and earned a designation of a Facility Management Professional. Outside of his primary career efforts, Mr. Domansky is currently serving as a Special Police Officer Class 2 for the West Milford Township Police Department since 2017. He was also a valued member of the International Facility Management Association.
Looking to the future, Mr. Domansky intends to complete his Bachelor's Degree in General Management, and become a more accomplished leader. He is also pursuing a Sustainable Facility Professional designation program from International Facility Managers Association, having always been a fast learner who is committed to furthering his skills.
