As the co-founder of Internal Balance Universe, a life-balancing company that focuses on Alkaline Education and Alternative Soul-Care, Dr. Perry-Luja is a 2017 Village Award recipient from the Village Hall of Fame Awards Foundation.
After serving as an herbalist for 15 years, Dr. Perry-Luja was driven to discover her life's true purpose, which led her to become a holistic health coach. During the early stages of her career in holistic health, she developed a skin and hair care wellness formulation. This led to her opening a Day Spa called Cancel Your Day, and a wellness center called Vibrations, that offered over 100 different types of loose-leaf healing teas, workshops and lecture presentations.
Outside of her work as a naturopath, Dr. Perry-Luja dedicates herself to others through The Ann (Alternative Natural Nurturing) Foundation (501c3), which she started alongside her husband in 2018. In addition to offering coaching services, they provide brain tap services, micro-current therapy, bio-field resets, and much more. Additionally, she has worked alongside of the Bridge-to-Africa Connection Inc., which assists in providing everyday essentials for the people of Heman Village in Ghana. Driven to remain abreast of changes in her growing field, she aligns herself with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and the American Health Care Academy.
An expert in her field, Dr. Perry-Luja holds a Ph.D. in Integrative Medicine and a bachelor's degree in holistic health science. In light of her outstanding breadth of knowledge, she has authored numerous works, including, "Internal Balance – Would You Marry You? Balancing the Scales of Love, Life & Relationships" and "In Your Kitchen with Melanie, For the Amateur Herbalist."
