After years of working for Bedford Area School District as a substitute teacher, she retired in 2006. Previously, she gained valuable expertise in her work with Bedford as a teacher, and with Pittsburgh City Schools. Alongside her work in the field, Ms. Tubo dedicated herself to several organizations, including the Bedford County Players.
Driven to establish a strong foundation in the field of education, Ms. Tubo earned a Bachelor of Science from the California University of Pennsylvania. Subsequently, she expanded upon her knowledge by earning a master's degree in reading from her alma mater. While her career has been filled with standout moments, she takes the most pride in watching one of her students receive the honor of Title I Student of the Year in Pennsylvania just shortly before her retirement.
