Marcello J. Celentano Recognized for Excellence in Business Management

Renowned for his expertise in business management, Marcello J. Celentano has built an honorable career legacy over the course of nearly 35 years.

Mr. Celentano's professional path began in 1989 when he earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Washington State University. He subsequently became employed as the regional manager, city manager, marketing manager and customer service manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, roles in which he excelled until 2002. Finding early success with Enterprise, he was granted multiple Presidential Leadership Awards for his efforts. From there, Mr. Celentano began a four-year tenure with FedEx Kinko's, Inc., having been recruited to serve as a district manager and senior executive in 2002. He was then elevated to regional vice president and managing director until leaving the company in 2008. During this time, Mr. Celentano was named the Operations Employee of the Year by FedEx Kinko's in 2003, having also been the recipient of the 2006 FedEx Five-Star Award.

Progressing in his career, Mr. Celentano gained valuable connections in his network that led to numerous opportunities, including a pivot into the health care space. Despite his initial hesitance to move into health care and compliance, he was assured by his peers that compliance was a process that he could learn to do quite simply, given he already held strong skills as an operator. In 2008, he accepted a role as the senior vice president of LCA Vision, remaining until 2011. That same year, he achieved a Master of Business Administration in international business and corporate entrepreneurship from Babson College. Mr. Celentano went on to serve as the chief executive officer of Connect Hearing, Inc. from 2011 to 2014 and Claris Vision from 2014 to 2018. He then spent the next three years in private practice as a consultant and operating partner.

Since 2021, Mr. Celentano has found much success as the chief executive officer and board member of Panorama Eye Care LLC in Fort Collins, Colorado. In this role, he supports doctors in their growing businesses, creates strategic growth initiatives and takes over responsibilities for doctors so they can focus on patient care. Alongside this post, he has also been a board member for the Ear Professionals International Corporation, the National Association of Specialty Health Organizations and Claris Vision LLC.

In five years' time, Mr. Celentano plans to be semi-retired, working on boards and occasionally dedicating time to consulting. Ultimately, he would love to participate in the private equity industry to help young entrepreneurs pave their own paths to success. With his years of experience and knowledge, he believes he could serve as a successful mentor to those looking to get a leg up in business. Mr. Celentano also looks forward to traveling with his wife and allocating more time for his hobbies, including golf and tennis.
