With more than 40 years of excellence to his credit in service to his community, Mr. Oldham has earned distinction as a leader in fire service. He is the ESOISR and fire brigade leader for the Tennessee Valley Authority at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant. For the past 14 years, he has focused efforts on working with individuals to ensure the integrity of fire protection, such as inspecting sprinkler and alarm systems. He also handles the procurement for the organization and takes care of the equipment for the EMS.
Before his current role, Mr. Oldham served many positions in Sale Creek Volunteer Fire Department and became a paramedic and fire captain. He took a job as a paramedic with Hamilton County EMS for ten years. After leaving Hamilton County, taking a job as a fire captain for Y-12 Fire Department in Oak Ridge, TN for ten years. Mr. Oldham earned an Associate of Science in fire science in 2020.

He was named Firefighter of the Year twice for his dedicated services and leadership. Additionally, he is a valued member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs and served on the board of directors of the Sale Creek Volunteer Fire Department in the past. He is a member of the Tennessee Fire Chiefs Association, the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, and the National Association of Arson Investigators.
Within the coming years, Mr. Oldham intends to work and pursue a bachelor's degree in Fire administration. Having wanted to become a firefighter since he was young, he is committed to serving his community in this way.
