In Connecticut, he served as part-time director of B'nai Brith Career and Counseling Service and was President of the Connecticut School Counselor Association in 1974-75. Ultimately, Dr. Fisher proudly partners with students—and their families—to craft a strategy for gaining admission to local, regional, and national institutions of choice all across the United States.
Dr. Fisher brings superior educational credentials to his consultancy role, including a Doctor of Education from California Coastal University. He also earned a Professional Diploma and a Master of Arts in Education, both from Teachers College, Columbia University, and his Bachelor of Science in Sociology was completed at Franklin and Marshall College. At F &M, he was co-editor of the school newspaper and inducted into the Black Pyramid Senior Honor Society. Dr. Fisher is also proud to hold the designation of Certified Educational Planner, and he maintains vital professional networks via memberships in the National Association for College Admission Counseling, the Independent Educational Consultants Association, and the National Career Development Association.
Various commendations have marked Dr. Fisher's personal and professional milestones, including the Meritorious Service Award granted to him by the National Conference of Synagogue Youth. He also received a Man of the Year recognition from Congregation Beth Jacob.
