Grounded in the principles of industrial/organizational psychology and backed by almost twenty-five years of professional experience in Human Resources, Ms. Flaris presently holds the position of Vice President of Human Resources for Nextran Truck Centers. Her experience spans distribution, supply chain, professional, and energy industries in both private and public sectors, ranging in size from $200M to $5B+ in revenue. Previously, as the Vice President of Human Resources at APR Energy and The HCI Group, she worked with the executive team to pivot the organizational strategy to more sustainable business models. Ms. Flaris has gained valuable expertise both globally and nationally and has benefited from a breadth of functional Human Resources experience in her years at Johnstone Supply, Hickory Ventures, and Harrison Direct, Inc.
Throughout her career, Ms. Flaris has led due diligence and change management aspects of M&A for several organizations. Ms. Flaris holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Clemson University and a Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tennessee. She remains a certified Human Resources Professional through both the Society of Human Resources and the Human Resources Certification Institute and will serve on the Board of Florida Industrial Organizational Psychology (FIOP) as their Chief Administrative Officer in 2023.
