Dr. Delesbore is an experienced educator and expert in his field who has been teaching apologetics, theology, and biblical studies courses at various religious institutions throughout the state of New York since 2004. He also recently acquired a position with the New York City Department of Education in 2022 teaching high school social studies, living environmental science, and English language arts. In addition to lecturing, Dr. Delesbore serves as a curriculum development coordinator where he is responsible for creating various curriculums, programs, and teaching models.
During an earlier stage of his career, Dr. Delesbore was a hospital police officer from 1989 to 1993 and an emergency medical technician between 1989 and 1994. He also distinguished himself as a tenured bus operator for the New York City Transit Authority for more than 25 years.
Looking toward the future, Dr. Delesbore aims to complete his postdoctoral studies and become an educational consultant. He also intends to begin writing several Christian textbooks and develop a nonprofit mentoring program that will serve the youth throughout the community.
Avid about giving back, Dr. Delesbore has been volunteering his time as a community health care worker in mental health since 2020. He has also been active with the American Cancer Society and has served as a spiritual development coordinator on behalf of the New Jerusalem Worship Center.
Highly educated, Dr. Delesbore received a Bachelor of Arts in biblical and theological studies at Nyack College (now Alliance University) in New York, followed by a Master of Divinity in Christian theology and a Doctor of Theology. To further his career, he is presently pursuing a postdoctoral degree in education. Additionally, Dr. Delesbore holds credentials as a certified emergency medical technician, is certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and basic life support, and completed community health care worker training at the Zimmerman Institute at Columbia Hospital.
Highlighting his achievements, Dr. Delesbore was named as the Man of the Year by the New Jerusalem Workshop Center. He credits much of his good fortune to God, his family, and the many mentors and leaders who have positively impacted his life and career.
