With more than 15 years of excellence to his credit in logistics, engineering, and project management, Mr. Cruthis has found success as a Project Engineer. In this capacity, he serves as a Senior Project Engineer for Environmental Systems Design, Inc. Since 2019, he has focused his career efforts on designing, reviewing and advising on technical aspects of building automation in data centers, primarily for social media clients.
Before starting his private career, Mr. Cruthis served honorably in the United States Marine Corps as a Logistical Engineer from 2004 to 2009. Prior to his current role, he began his career in corporate advertising for Domino's Pizza in 2003 as well as serving as a tire department manager for Schuster Repair. He then worked in a dog food factory and built cellphone towers in the Midwest for a year before taking a role as an installation manager for Dataline Resources LLC in 2009. In 2011, he was a project manager for Synergetic Systems, LLC until becoming a senior programmer with Transformative Wave in 2015. He then served as the lead control systems designer for Harris in 2016 and was promoted to a General Manager of controls in 2017.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Cruthis earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in small business administration and management from the University of Phoenix in 2013. Well-qualified in his field, he holds numerous professional certifications, including from Carrier HVAC, J2 Innovations, Tridium, Honeywell, Distech Controls, and OPTO 22. In recognition of his excellent work, he received awards for his logistical engineering in the United States Marine Corps, including assisting in the response to natural disasters in the Philippines and expediting loading ships by using RFID trackers with the United States Navy. He also received a letter of appreciation from the United States Army Corps of Engineers for assisting them in projects related to the F-35 jets for the United States Air Force.
Within the coming years, Mr. Cruthis plans to help grow and manage Environmental Systems Design's new office in Phoenix, Arizona. He will also spearhead the company's rollout of educational tools, including their upcoming YouTube series teaching basic engineering to facility managers and building owners. A self-taught expert in his field, he acquired his first computer when he was 22 years old and studied numerous resources to transition his career from installation work to programming and design. His dedicated work has led to his stellar success thus far, and he intends to continue his path deepening his knowledge and progressing his career.
Mr. Cruthis is married to his wife Paige. They have two sons, Tristan and River.
