Among his professional accomplishments, Mr. Jackson is most proud of his achievements in the construction industry and of managing a successful trucking business for over five decades. Additionally, he is gratified to have overhauled the first 1961 Rolls-Royce V-Eight engine in the United States, which was owned by Mrs. Drakes, who established the Drake Hotels in San Francisco, California. Reflecting on a long career, Mr. Jackson attributes much of his success to his father, who instilled in him a love for education and exemplified a strong work ethic, which helped develop his sense of responsibility, especially when providing for his family after his father's passing; thereby shaping him into the kind of man he is today.
