Originally commencing a career in computer science, Dr. Monib A. Zirvi desired to conduct research, which led him to his current career as a dermatologist. He received a BS in engineering in 1993 from Princeton University and obtained his dual PhD and MD degrees in 2000 from the Cornell University Medical College (now Weill Cornell Medicine). Subsequently, he completed an internship at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in 2001 and a residency in dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania in 2004.
