Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Soper initially began his career serving as a paperboy for the Honolulu Star Bulletin, then served as a veterinary technician for large animal and small animal veterinary clinics, during high school, and college years and after college part time. Mr. Soper pursued an education at Colorado State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in psychology in 1970. His first job after college was preschool at a high-rise in Honolulu that was serving the underprivileged. He subsequently served as live-in counselor at a shelter for disenfranchised and court-referred young women for the United States Salvation Army. He subsequently worked in general automotive repair at the Killeen Ford Dealership. From there he was hired by the Brazos River Authority, as an Operator, at a wastewater treatment plant and earned his Certification in Wastewater Treatment issued by the Texas Department of Health (TDH). Next in his line of pursuits he was employed by the City of Austin at Govalle WasteWater treatment plant and also operated at others plants throughout the City. Mr. Soper was hired subsequently as an inspector for the City of Houston Milk and Dairy program, and pursued a degree in Health Education, and was one course short of that degree, when he was hired by the Texas Department of Health for his DREAM job, where he worked for 23 years half of those years, as a generalist inspector, inspecting of schools, daycare centers, youth camps, solid waste sites, septic tank failures, food service establishments, migraine labor housing and field sanitation, hazardous waste chemicals storage as regulated by EPA Hazardous Waste Resource Recovery Act; and enforced other Codes in violations of the statutes in health and safety. He was then hired as Chief over the Youth Camp and Public Swimming Pool Inspection Program. Upon retirement from TDH he did NOTHING for 6 months then started Perfect Pooch Grooming based on a simple philosophy to do everything as well as possible; in an industry that is not regulated in the State of Texas and many other states. He holds certification from the National Dog Grooming Association of America, and groomed dogs professionally with daughter Caroline for over 20 years. kimo has passed the examination for Veterinary Dental Technician and holds a certificate by the American Society of Veterinary Dental Technicians, and is certified in Animal First Aid and CPR. In his free time kimo enjoys taking care of his dog Nui, (LOVE in Hawaiian), hiking, tending his natural indoor aquarium, and maintaining his Natural Wildlife Federation "Certified Wildlife Habitat" Texas in the front yard and Hawaii in the backyard tropical outdoor fish ponds "Hawaiian-style". 1. RainWater Collections System:
Our water problem in Texas and elsewhere is minimal, see the prototype at http//:Milkway.Homestead.com (Patent pending) It rains 23 inches per year in Austin, that's ⅔ of the water a family of 4 needs which is approximately 100,000 gallons a year. Mr. Soper is working with environmental entities and officials to institute a water collection system that will reduce water consumption and use the water collected on roofs to maintain yard watering, ponds and gardens, etc. which is patent pending. Thus eliminating the need for vast water supplies and the subsequent replenishment of our aquifers. This will even work in El Paso where it rains about 10 inches per year as many of these houses are close together and have minimal yards and can grow food crops on their roofs, and are culturally more ecologically natural in their approach in such matters.
2. A Tax Free Federation to help those hurt or abused by corporate policy or employees of such businesses;
This plan has been discussed with attorneys to Federate and venerate good businesses that follow ISO standards, or the like for their industry, without taxation (Patent pending). Subsequently he consulted with BBB business local associates and was told BBB is "totally on board", "5 STARS 10 WHATEVER". He then again consulted with the same attorney and asked if he can form another federation that will potentially sue fraudulent and dishonest entities and a detailed plan was developed to accomplish this task that is patent pending.
3. Patent pending method to reduce shedding by more than 80 percent;
Using rubber titty gloves or the like massage and rub on your pet, use a mask and a fan if needed to reduce inhalation. The hair that comes out is old dead dull hair. Many pets with scaly dry skin prone to hotspots will gain significant improvement in their coat and skin condition. When most of the hair and dry skin has been removed, start adding oils rubbing it in the coat and skin, also feed oils orally, unless the pet is significantly overweight. In this regard, excellent results have also been realized with the natural oils we use on our skin; however, this can be costly for large dogs. On larger dogs he has used Wesson oil, coconut oil and other more cost efficient products. A caveat, to reduce the probability of an allergic reaction, rub some of the product onto a pink spot likely on the belly and observe, if it turns a darker pink or red in a half hour, it would be best not to use that product. If you use this method and share it with another you must say who you got it from as that is part of the patent. If you like it you can also mention it on yahoo or google but this is not a requirement.
