Additionally, Mr. Strider is tasked with supporting the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) hypersonic defense program.

Prior to joining PeopleTec Inc., Mr. Strider was the Deputy Director for the U.S. Army Hypersonic Project Office in Huntsville from 2019 to 2022. He was also affiliated with the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville as a supervisory general engineer involved in advanced systems test and development between 2010 and 2019. Additionally, Mr. Strider garnered expertise as the supervisory general engineer on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency from 2005 to 2010 and as the general engineer for the Space Missile Defense Command between 1991 and 2005. During an earlier stage of his career, Mr. Strider notably taught as a secondary school educator.
Civically, Mr. Strider frequently supports Still Serving Veterans and the North Alabama Food Bank. He is also a parishioner at the Willowbrook Baptist Church.
Inspired by his father, who was an aeronautical engineer and worked for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration during the early 1960s, Mr. Strider recalls becoming fascinated by the industry while coming of age. After high school, he earned a Bachelor of Science in agriculture education and a Master of Science in agriculture education at Auburn University and Alabama A&M University, respectively. Continuing his studies, Mr. Strider completed a second Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering at the University of Alabama at Huntsville. Mr. Strider is level 3 certified in test and evaluation and systems planning, research, development, and engineering and is level 2 certified in program management through Defense Acquisition University. He also received credentials as a licensed home builder.
To remain aligned in his industry, Mr. Strider is a member of the Association of Aeronautic Engineers. He is also active as a member of the Army Field Artillery Association. Mr. Strider has been honored several times with Civilian Service Awards from the U.S. Army for his outstanding contributions in engineering.
